Is Colombia worth going to?

My (28F) Colombian friend (37F) invited me to Bogotá on vacation to show me her city and visit other places in Colombia? I’ve been researching a lot and it seems like the overall sentiment is mixed regarding Colombia. I like going to nice restaurants, dancing and chill at the beach. Is it worth going ?
