Travel within India in May

Hey guys, I have a few days of leave I wanna use up this month. The idea is just to leave the city and be amidst nature. With the current weather conditions in the country - where can I have a pleasant getaway? I was thinking of going to Goa for 4-5 days I need to also study because I have an exam in a few months
