In late June, me and my fiancé are going to Spain. We are from Northeast US and have never been overseas. We have 9 days to spend on vacation. Budget is flexible but for the sake of the post we are looking to spend a maximum of around $9,000.00.
We would want to fit Mallorca into our trip but I would also like to fit in mainland Spain too. I was thinking either flying into northern Spain or Barcelona and then getting to Mallorca. Would 4 days in Mallorca and 5 days in mainland Spain be too little? We would like to maximize our time there.
Our favorite thing is being able to walk/drive around and explore new places. We like experience the culture and randomly stumbling across interesting places.
