At 1005 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Springer, moving north at 35 mph. This storm has a history of producing a tornado that caused damage in Ardmore. HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include... Sulphur, Davis, Springer, Dougherty, Lake Of The Arbuckles, and Turner Falls.
