At 957 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Lake Charles Regional Airport, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Lake Charles, Sulphur, Cameron, Westlake, Iowa, Fenton, Grand Lake, Hayes, Moss Bluff, Johnsons Bayou, Lake Charles Regional Airport, Sabine National Wildlife, Grand Chenier, Hacketts Corner, Topsy, Lebleu Settlement, Gillis, Holly Beach, Sweet Lake, and Carlyss. This includes the following highways... Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 19 and 49. Interstate 210 between mile markers 1 and 12.
