Hi all,
My brother is coming out of college with a CS degree but wants to get involved in doing IT or tech for the military. I know he can go to OCS after getting his bachelors but what’s the path he’d have to take to get into IT and compsci for the military after that?
He’s having trouble finding jobs in the private market, would getting into tech for the military be any easier?
And lastly, if he wasn’t able to get into coding for the military, what career paths could he take after OCS while avoiding active combat? I know it makes us sound like pussies but I’d really rather him avoid active combat if possible - the death rate is just too high for me to be comfortable with.
