Has anyone ever been asked proof of funds at European immigration?

Hello everyone,

Passport - Indian.

Visa - Schengen multi entry with 1 year validity.

I'll be visiting Europe for around 15 days this month end.

I'll be entering through Germany and making my way through Austria, Hungary, Prague, etc.

I've visited Europe before, entered through France and I've not been asked any proof of funds but this time I'll be entering through Germany and wanted to know if anyone has been asked here.

How much should I carry? Around 1500 Euros is ok? Can I show my forex card statement + cash? And if more is needed, can I show my Indian bank balance with a card that can be used everywhere?

I'm usually calm, collected and confident everywhere during my travels but immigration kinda puts me into a very uncomfortable spot filled with lots of doubts due to a relatively weaker passport

I know it's unlikely to be asked but I don't wanna be sent back or be stuck after going so far for something trivial like this.

Thanks a lot for reading my post.
