Flood Advisory issued May 2 at 4:48PM AST until May 2 at 6:30PM AST by NWS San Juan PR

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Camuy and Hatillo. * WHEN...Until 630 PM AST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 447 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Arecibo, Hatillo, Camuy, Rafael Gonzalez, Rafael Capo, Quebrada, Piedra Gorda, Corcovado and Carrizales. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
