My girlfriend (23F) and I (24F) are flying to Athens in late July and it’s gonna be our first time in Greece. We both love the beach and love trying out new food and different experiences. I just want to make this trip a fun yet memorable trip for the both of us but am quite unsure of where to go and what to do.
For now, there are some islands we would want to explore, please let me know if it’s worth it and if there’s any suggestions for restaurants and food eateries, we’re more than happy to try them out!
Arrive in Athens and explore the city for 1-2 days
Day trip to Delphi?
Islands I’m considering:
- Hydra (I heard there are day trips from Athens but is it enough to explore the island?) - Poros - Mykonos (was thinking of spending 3 days here?) - was thinking of Alonissos but I’m scared it’s too far out and I don’t have enough time - Crete?
Would appreciate any kind of recommendations!
