Vietnam Tour (Saigon to Ha Noi)

Hi. I'm planning a trip in Vietnam and I would like to get your opinion if taking the train from Saigon to Da Nang then Da Nang to Ha Noi is worth it? I check the duration of the rides and each takes about a minimum of around 18 hours. Is it worth it?

This will be a solo trip and I want to have the cheapest but worthwhile and safe route when I go there.
