It’s been a long time since we’ve heard of the ATX12VO standard. The aim of this standard is to maximize 12V idle endowments by stripping the power supply of its other 3.3V and 5V rails. The latter migrate to the motherboard, which then performs the conversion. The result is a motherboard without a 24-pin connector!

With this PlatiGemini model, Enermax simply offers a power supply that can be connected to ATX12VO standard motherboards.

PlatiGemini: an ATX12VO-compatible power supply!

Enermax PlatiGemini - ATX 3.1 - ATX12VOThe program features a 100% modular power supply with 80 Platinum certification. As for power, here we have a powerful model boasting 1200W!

However, the specificity of this block lies in its compatibility with ATX12VO systems. Enermax offers the necessary connectors to power this type of system… However, to find a motherboard to this standard, you’ll have to get up early, as manufacturers are reluctant to release new hardware!

As for the rest, it’s business as usual, with Japanese capacitors, Enermax’s Dust Free technology, semi-fanless mode, all electrical protection and a single 12V rail.

What’s more, as this block is ATX 3.1 compliant, we’re also entitled to a 12V-2×6 to power an NVIDIA RTX 40 graphics card.

At present, no price is known, with availability scheduled for April!
