Hello fellow travelers! I'm from New Zealand, and am lucky enough to get 2 days out of my Italy trip for the Swiss region of Jungfrau. I've been eyeing Jungfraujoch as a must-see destination, but it seems a bit pricey for my budget. I'm wondering if there's a more affordable alternative to experience the breathtaking views and snowy landscapes than the top of Europe. We're considering staying in either Interlaken or Lauterbrunnen.
Is there a better or cheaper alternative to the peak of Europe ?
My preferences are:
We only need great views, and would love to frolic in the snow up close (not just watch it from a distance)
I'm not into skiing, if that matters.
Oh, and one more thing, we'll be travelling in early December.
Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
TIA
