Possible to change the credit card on a booking with Alamo on a car I have not yet returned?

Not sure if anyone here can help, I am visiting Scotland from the US and booked a rental car with Alamo via my Costco membership. I am returning the car in two days and have had it for a week. I now see on Costco's website I needed to have paid with it with my Costco Citi Card in order to have the proper insurance. Is there any way to change the credit card on my booking since I am still in the middle of renting the car and I assume I haven't been fully charged yet anyway? Anyone ever deal with a similar situation?
