 | i know a couple of these. like the vietnam service and air force service at the bottom. the red and blue one that’s separate i just recently looked up but can remember what they mean. these were my grandfathers. he served in vietnam and flew in 353rd. he also has a patch (not sure if it’s his or a buddies) from the 522nd. if you can help me ID this ill be forever grateful. he passed before i was able to talk to him about his service and i really want to get more understanding of what he did and all of his awards. we have a huge shadow box of his awards (including a purple heart) so if you could give me some insight in to some of these medals i’ll be very grateful submitted by /u/winnie-the-eq [link] [comments] |
