Idea validation for a startup focusing on pet owners

I am planning to make a platform for those who have pets. So if a person plans to leave their pets someplace safe or working professionals who can't be with their pets the whole day can connect with other users on the platform who are planning to adopt a pet in near future and want to get a bit of experience on pet parenting. My platform can help them connect and maybe in future I can build a brand out of this for pet lovers. Tell me if this idea can work?
