...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas... Neches River At Rockland affecting Tyler, Angelina, Polk and Jasper Counties. Neches River Near Diboll affecting Trinity, Tyler, Houston, Polk and Angelina Counties. Neches River Near Alto affecting Anderson, Houston, Cherokee and Trinity Counties. Neches River Near Neches affecting Anderson, Houston and Cherokee Counties. For the Neches River...including Lake Palestine, Neches, Alto, Diboll, Rockland...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neches River at Rockland. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 32.0 feet, Some dozen homes in the Fox Landing community will be flooded. Preparations should be rushed to completion to protect homes and property from being flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 27.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 28.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM CDT Thursday was 27.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 32.0 feet Monday morning. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 32.0 feet on 12/02/1941. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
