Need help with direction

First and foremost thank all of you for your service, I am a 21 y/o male and I’ve decided I’m at a standstill in my life and want to join the military. I’ve done a bit of research but I also understand that there’s no better way to learn the ins and outs of something than hearing from people who’ve lived it. I need help with deciding what branch of the military would be best for propelling myself forward in life whether it’s financial, experiences, and/or personal growth wise. I know some recruiters might sugarcoat and hide things, I’d love to learn the raw truth
