Hey guys, My 15 year and 7 months year old little dog is starting to go downhill. I’ve had her since I was 9 years old (and I’m 25 now). This is breaking my heart seeing her not be herself. She’s had a couple bad days now, but I have to carry her to the yard outside and she isn’t eating, barely peeing and drinking. Doesn’t want treats or meat. She’s not acting like herself at all.
Another sad part, is that I work outside of town, and my mom is taking care of her while I’m gone as she is more comfortable and I can’t bring her with me. But I’m so worried that she’ll go or something will happen when I’m not here. As well, I hate seeing her like this. I don’t want to put her down too early or too late! And the fact that on maybe she’s just having a couple days, and she’ll turn the corner. I just hate that I, as her owner and bestie, have to make that choice.
Fucking heartbreaking.
Any advice?
