I'm a cinephile as I assume most of you are, but I have trouble with movies I watched far in my past.
Im 31 and had seen Hausu at age 16-18, but I re-watched it last week and I'm not exaggerating in saying that it's nearly my favorite movie of all time. I've watched it 3 times this week once with my wife because she loves anime and honestly the first half of the film is so incredible and different in the way it establishes characters I cant get over it. Not to mention the main theme, which immediately puts me in a good mood now.
ANYWAYS!
I love terry gilliam and i think he comes closest to this style but he is often singularlily focused like in time bandits and brazil.
anything like house? idk i doubt it
