The Blade Runner 2049 sequel is arriving in the form of a Prime Video series, and here's all the Blade Runner 2099 news. 1982's Blade Runner follows Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), who is assigned to track down and kill replicants in the future. Replicants are a type of life-like androids that were designed to be laborers, but many rebel and decide to live their own lives. The movie examines humanity while being a visual neo-noir spectacle, and that theme continues in the legacy sequel Blade Runner 2049.
